So, I was sitting here and decided to refresh the iTunes charts, and the funny thing is, I just happened to be listening to my favorite song from my new album, the last track (“Stay Young”), and the part that was playing was the end when I sing “I need a sign tonight” over and over…
And then I realized my album had broke into the top 10.

Holy shit. My new album just hit #13 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts! If it reaches the top 10, I don’t know what I’ll do for you all, but it will be something even more awesome than I was going to do before.

In regards to my last post… Here’s the song I just sat down and wrote, I don’t think it’s quite finished, but I think I’m gonna put it on the album.

I’m looking over my new album’s lyrics right now… And I had already had a weird feeling this was true, but there’s literally not one hopeful/shiny/happy lyric on the entire album as of now.
I haven’t shared this yet, but it’s a very dark album lyrically. I suppose even darker than I thought.
